This service is only provided in areas within 40km from our premises in Honeydew. We go as far as Soweto in the South, Midrand in the North, Bedfordview in the East, and Krugersdorp in the West.

Basic Unit:

Rainwater harvesting tank.

  1. Cement base for the tank to stand on.
  2. 1000 L or 2500 L rainwater tank connected to your gutter downpipe.
  3. Leaf catcher to filter out debris.
  4. Ball valve on your tank for non-pressurised water outlet.

Intermediate Unit:

Rainwater harvesting tank plus municipal backup (for when it does not rain).

  1. Cement base for the tank to stand on.
  2. 2500 L rainwater tank connected to your gutter downpipe.
  3. Leaf catcher to filter out debris.
  4. Ball valve on your tank for non-pressurised water outlet.
  5. Piping from municipal feed into the tank.
  6. Electronic float valve to keep the tank full at all times (can be adjusted for summer/winter).

Advanced Unit:

Includes a pressure pump and water regulator to allow for connection to a garden sprinkler/irrigation system.

  1. Cement base for the tank to stand on.
  2. 2500 L rainwater tank connected to your gutter downpipe.
  3. Leaf catcher to filter out debris.
  4. Ball valve on your tank for non-pressurised water outlet.
  5. Piping from municipal feed into the tank.
  6. Electronic float valve to keep the tank full at all times (can be adjusted for summer/winter).
  7. Pressure pump to generate sufficient pressure to drive a garden irrigation system. Output at 50 L/min.
  8. Note that this unit cost does not include a feedback into the house from the tank in the event of a water outage. The cost of this feed will depend on the distance from the tank to the main line (see picture opposite). Cost on request.
